ProLine Plus vs Flex Plus

ProLine Plus Teleprompters are far more adaptable than any other teleprompter on the market. The raise and lower feature, as well as the ability to tilt the angle of the glass, is the primary advantage of our ProLine Plus series. Both the ProLine Plus and Flex Plus prompters feature a folding hood, and break down to half the size of their original versions. Both can work with any size monitor, from iPad to 24 inch, but when price is a concern, the Flex Plus series may be your best choice in a teleprompter.

Reversing Monitors

Self-reversing monitors reverse the text so it's readable on the teleprompter glass. Non-reversing, (Standard), monitors require complicated steps to reverse the text in software. At Prompter People, all or our teleprompters come with a reversing monitor – a feature that does not come with most other teleprompters in the business. Variable Height/Angle

One of the major advantage for ProLine Plus series teleprompters is the easily variable beamsplitter height and angle. Raising or lowering the glass, or changing the angle of the glass for perfect viewing is quick and easy. Location shooters will value the ability to adjust to any shooting situation or camera. ProLine Plus 12" - 19" 4:3 Hoods feature a variable locking Angle that holds the Beamsplitter Glass at more angles than the standard 45 Degrees.

Trapezoidal Glass

Trapezoidal, or Studio Glass, has been specifically designed and used for years in TV productions. The outward sloping angle of the glass allows for a wider viewing angle, without creating problems of "fall off". When anchors or speakers are turning from one camera to another, the trapezoidal glass allows for off-axis viewing for multiple talent. At Prompter People, it's always about making the best product for the right user.

65/35 Glass is Better

The entire purpose of a Teleprompter is for the announcer or viewer to have an easy way to read text. Clean, clear and BRIGHT. 65/35 glass will reflect 35 percent of the monitor image back to the viewer. Allowing for a crisper, cleaner, BRIGHTER, easier to read image. Other Teleprompters will only reflect back 30% of the image, so the viewer may have a more difficult time reading the text. In our opinion, the companies that say 70/30 glass is better, are simply wrong. However, if you request 70/30 glass, we can make it available to you.

It's incredibly easy to transform or breakdown your ProLine Plus. Go from Freestanding to Sled Mount or 15mm Rail Mount Teleprompter in minutes with the removable sled. You can start with any base model Sled, Freestanding, or 15mm and add any kits needed to convert your Teleprompter in minutes. The removable back sled also allows the ProLine Plus to breakdown to half the size of the legacy ProLine Teleprompter. 15MM Rail Mount Kits

There are certain times / productions, where you have camera operators who are using 15mm Camera Cages and attaching the Rigged Camera to a Teleprompter can sometimes mean breaking down the entire system and rebuilding it. All ProLine Plus models are easily switched over to a 15mm Rail Mount teleprompter with easy and toolless conversion kits. This means you can leave your Camera Rigged and still use a Teleprompter. These can be added at checkout or purchased later as you need them. With the Sled Kit, Freestanding Kit, and 15mm Kit this essentially gives you 3 teleprompters in one.

High Bright Monitor

High Bright monitors are a valuable option in any application where you need maximum brightness and readability from the teleprompter. Common uses would be outdoors or in brightly lit studios or auditoriums. Our High Bright monitors appear twice as bright to the eye compared to standard monitors. Prompter People offers our High Bright monitor upgrade at an affordable price, $200 extra for 12” monitors and $400 additional for any other size.

Notice in the image on the left the representation of the High Bright image. This represents what our 1000 NITS monitors look like compared to a standard 400 NITs monitor. Our standard monitors are very viewable in normal indoor conditions but High Bright monitors give an extra edge of brightness without effecting the image transmitted to the camera through the beamsplitter.
